Introducing Pellmans

Pellmans was founded in 1973 by Adrian J. G. Pellman (our senior partner). Adrian was initially a senior commercial lawyer in London but, on setting up his practice in Reading, he became very well known nationally in the divorce law field. He is also a frequent contributor to the legal press in his campaign for justice in divorce. Adrian was joined by his daughter, Joanna Pellman, in 1997 and, shortly afterwards, the firm moved from Reading to Eynsham.

Expansion continued and in 2004 Gavin Clark, Joanna’s husband, moved from Lincolnshire to take over the firm’s commercial and residential property and agricultural work. The firm now comprises of five solicitors and a senior probate practitioner, in addition to support staff.

Apart from the usual work of a general practice, we can offer our clients individually tailored advice in several specialised areas of law, and we do much complex and/or high value work for individuals and businesses of the sort usually carried out by larger practices.
