About us
Adrian Pellman, our senior partner, brings long
experience to bear in several major areas, including divorce and
cohabitation, inheritance and capital tax planning, employment,
business law, and commercial property. He is well known for taking
a robust stance in matrimonial cases and for finding innovative
and creative solutions to matrimonial, tax and employment problems.
Adrian’s wide knowledge, both generally and in relation to
divorce and cohabitation law, also enables him to take a broad strategic
approach to wills and tax planning problems.
Joanna Pellman has ten years’ qualified
experience with particular expertise in wills, probate, trust and
tax planning, and divorce and cohabitation law. Her work has also
included residential conveyancing. Joanna’s knowledge of all
three fields enables her to see the interaction between these and
to give a broad overview of problems.
Gavin Clark qualified since 1998, is our property
and agriculture partner. He has considerable experience in commercial
and residential property, and in solving related problems, such
as disputes over boundaries, rights of way and restrictive covenants,
and, coming from a farming family, is able to bring practical knowledge
to bear on agricultural property and agricultural law problems.
Gavin also has a wide experience of employment law.
Verity Peto has been practising since 1975 and has an exceptionally
wide experience of the law. She also has a high degree of expertise
in divorce, cohabitation and family matters, and civil disputes
resolution and litigation.
Rachel Burrows has many years experience in wills,
probate, trust and tax planning and has also lectured on these subjects
to trainee solicitors on their professional skills course.
Peter Aldington has thirty years’ experience
in wills, probate, trust, and tax planning and also has particular
experience in dealing with estates of very high value and estates
involving foreign assets.
